It is hard to believe that it has been 18 years since I started using your flexibility routine at Roanoke College.  I am currently coaching the Women’s Soccer team at Southwest Missouri State University and continue to have very few problems with non-contact muscle injuries.

We have not had players miss matches due to these types of injuries.  The only strains or pulls that have caused players to miss practices have been limited to the pre-season period when we have multiple practice days.  Typically these injuries happen to freshmen who do not yet know the program or are under prepared for the start of the season.

I was pleased to see your new manual and will put it to good use.  As you get your manual on Basic Conditioning I would be very interested in taking a look at it and getting information on the workshops.

I want to take this opportunity to express my personal and professional thanks to you both for your outstanding program and manual, The Flexibility Manual.  I have been a soccer coach for thirty-one years and have used your program since 1980.  I used it first with my Radnor High School soccer team and, more recently, with various FC DELCO club teams.  In all this time, with all these teams, I have never had a player miss a game due to a non-contact muscle related injury.

This is almost two decades free of the worry that comes from missing players on match day.  Both Radnor, a major soccer program in southeast Pennsylvania, and FC DELCO, a national power in club soccer, owe much of their success to your efforts.  Our players are able to execute at a high level because of their increased range of motion, and they are able to avoid muscle injuries that would occur with less flexibility.

I heartily recommend this program to anyone anxious to maintain and promote soccer fitness.

I wanted to write to let you know how pleased I am with Sports Kinetics and its flexibility program.  I had an opportunity to see its benefits at Great Valley High School and know it most definitely benefited us at Conestoga High School.  Your help in setting up the program at Conestoga was especially helpful.

I can say that in my four years experience with your program that I have never lost a player to any type of muscle related injury.

I have found both your staff and your program to be of the highest quality.  My only regret is that I am not closer to Sports Kinetics so that I can take advantage of your personal instruction.

I will add, that despite that problem, I am still able to use your program through your manual.  Thank you again and best of luck.

Enjoyed hearing from you after these many years and to learn about your tremendous success with your manual.  Although it has been ten years since I last worked with you, paging through the manual reminded me of the positives of your program.

The flexibility program you introduced to my soccer teams ten years ago is still working and succeeding today.  Currently working with the University of Scranton as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach I still make use of the exercises that you passed on to me.  The flexibility exercises still make up our pre-practice and pre-game warm-ups.  In a much more physical and demanding game, at the collegiate level, muscle related injuries have been minimal.

The clarity of the manual helped remind me of the proper methods to use while carrying out the exercises, so as to gain maximum benefits.  It is one thing to do something from memory and another to have the “picture” to help.  Your new manual has done just that.  I wish you continued success and the best of luck.

This letter is to acknowledge with appreciation the help and expertise you have given the Shipley Crew in preparing them for their racing season.  Rowing demands rigorous training and conditioning to develop the stamina for a 1500 or 2000 meter race.  Also, every part of the body is engaged in the rowing motion.  To my knowledge, none of our student athletes who has followed your instructions and engaged in a proper stretching and warm-up prior to rowing, conditioning, running or weight lifting has experienced any injury.

Rowing is setting the example for many other sports at Shipley.  Through your willingness to give of your time and knowledge of proper stretching techniques, all athletes have benefited.

The Woodlynde School has an enrollment of 215 students, grades K-12.  Woodlyndes’ athletic program fields 10 varsity teams in soccer, cross-country, girls and boys tennis, basketball, wrestling, girls volleyball, field hockey, boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse.  In addition we field 7 sub varsity teams.  This equates to approximately 240 athletes/seasons/year.

Woodlynde implemented the Flexibility Program over six years ago in physical education classes and at all levels of the athletic program.

Since that time we have not had a muscle injury that prevented an athlete from competing.  In addition to preventing injuries, the program has improved the flexibility of our athletes which obviously enhances performance.

I whole heartedly recommend the Flexibility Program.  It is complete, effective and easily understood by student-athletes.  Keep up the good work.
